OUR SERVICES
Pulmonary Function Testing
(Spirometry, Lung Volumes & Diffusion Capacity)
Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) are non-invasive tests that show how well the lungs are working. The tests measure lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange. This information can help your healthcare provider diagnose and decide the treatment of certain lung disorders.
Pulmonary Consultation
A pulmonary consultation is a medical appointment with a pulmonologist, a specialist in respiratory health. It involves an assessment of respiratory issues through a medical history review, physical examination, and possibly diagnostic tests to diagnose and manage conditions affecting the lungs and breathing
Spirometry
(Pre and Post Bronchodilator Available)
Spirometry is a common and effective diagnostic test. You will be asked to take in a big breath, and then blow as hard and long as you can into a machine. The machine measures how much air you can blow out from your lungs and how fast you can blow it out. Spirometry is the most reliable way to test your lungs for COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and asthma.
Arterial Blood Gases (ABG)
An arterial blood gas (ABG) test measures the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood to find out how well the lungs are working. An ABG test checks how well the lungs can move oxygen into the blood and removed carbon dioxide from the blood.
ASTHMA EDUCATION
We provide programs or resources to educate individuals diagnosed with asthma. This educational initiative aims to empower patients with information and skills related to understanding and managing asthma effectively. Topics covered may include recognizing asthma symptoms, proper use of medications, lifestyle adjustments, and strategies for asthma control, ultimately enhancing the patient’s ability to manage and live with the condition.
